General
I use a wide range of jewellery components, with sterling silver-plated Zamak being the main material in my collections.
Zamak is an alloy made of zinc, aluminium, magnesium, and small amounts of copper. In jewellery production, it is shaped and then finished with a thin layer of sterling silver (approximately 5–8 microns) or other plating finishes such as gold, bronze, or copper.
This combination creates a durable material that allows for detailed designs and a variety of finishes.
Zamak is commonly used in jewellery making due to its strength, versatility, and affordability, and it is also recyclable, which supports more sustainable production practices.
While these materials are widely used in the jewellery industry and are generally well tolerated, individual skin sensitivities may vary. We recommend avoiding wear if you have known allergies or sensitivities to specific metals.
At the heart of every piece of jewelry there is a commitment to quality and sustainability. From the beads to the clasps, every element is chosen for its durability, aesthetic appeal, and eco-conscious sourcing. And because the little things matter, this extends to the packaging , prioritizing eco-friendly materials that reduce waste and support a greener future.
All my jewelry is designed and handmade by me in my atelier using a combination of handmade and ethically-produced outsourced materials.
What does it mean?
All my designs are handmade which means that your piece will be unique and therefore you might also keep in mind that although all my pieces pursue the same high levels of quality, handmade jewelry pieces, unlike more industrial ones, they may differ slightly from one to another.
